जलक्लिन्नेन हस्तेन तयोर्नेत्रे प्रमृज्य च ।
शोकसम्पीडितमना रुरोद विललाप च ॥६-५०-१४॥
jalaklinnena hastena tayornetre pramṛjya ca |
śokasaṃ pīḍitamanā ruroda vilalāpa ca ॥6-50-14॥
Translation
Wiping their eyes with a hand wet with water, Vibhishana, with a mind tormented by grief, wept and lamented.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जल से भीगे हुए हाथ से उन दोनों के नेत्र पोंछकर, शोक से पीड़ित मन वाले विभीषण रोने और विलाप करने लगे।
English Commentary
Wiping the eyes is an act of service and affection. Perhaps there was dust or blood on Shri Rama's eyes which Vibhishana cleaned. This illustrates the human connection between the devotee and the Lord.

नेत्र पोंछना एक सेवा और स्नेह का कार्य है। शायद श्री राम की आँखों पर धूल या रक्त था जिसे विभीषण ने साफ किया। यह भक्त और भगवान के बीच के मानवीय संबंध को दर्शाता है।
