चन्द्रश्च नाम द्रोणश्च क्षीरोदे सागरोत्तमे ।
अमृतं यत्र मथितं तत्र ते परमौषधी ॥६-५०-३१॥
candraśca nāma droṇaśca kṣīrode sāgarottame |
amṛtaṃ yatra mathitaṃ tatra te paramauṣadhī ॥6-50-31॥
Translation
'In the supreme Ocean of Milk, where the Nectar was churned, lie the mountains named Chandra and Drona; the supreme herbs are there.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्रेष्ठ क्षीरसागर में, जहाँ अमृत मथा गया था, चन्द्र और द्रोण नामक पर्वत हैं; वहीं वे उत्तम औषधियाँ हैं।
