तमागतमभिप्रेक्ष्य नागास्ते विप्रदुद्रुवुः ।
यैस्तौ सत्पुरुषौ बद्धौ शरभूतैर्महाबलौ ॥६-५०-३७॥
tamāgatamabhiprekṣya nāgāste vipradudruvuḥ |
yaistau satpuruṣau baddhau śarabhūtairmahābalaiḥ ॥6-50-37॥
Translation
Seeing him (Garuda) arrive, those snakes fled - the very ones that, having turned into mighty arrows, had bound those two noble men.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस (गरुड़) को आया हुआ देखकर वे नाग भाग गए, जो महाबली बाण बनकर उन दोनों सत्पुरुषों (श्री राम-लक्ष्मण) को बांधे हुए थे।
English Commentary
The Nagapasha was composed of actual snakes turned into arrows by spells. Seeing their natural enemy, they abandoned the bond and fled.

नागपाश वास्तव में सर्प ही थे जो मंत्र शक्ति से बाण बने थे। अपने प्राकृतिक शत्रु को देखते ही वे बंधन छोड़कर भाग गए।
