एते नागाः काद्रवेया स्तीक्ष्णदंष्ट्रा विषोल्बणाः ।
रक्षोमायाप्रभावेन शरा भूत्वा त्वदाश्रिताः ॥६-५०-४९॥
ete nāgāḥ kādraveyāstīkṣṇadaṃṣṭrā viṣolbaṇāḥ |
rakṣomāyāprabhāvena śarā bhūtvā tvadāśritāḥ ॥6-50-49॥
Translation
'These were the sons of Kadru (Kadraveya), snakes with sharp fangs and terrible poison, who, under the influence of demonic magic, had become arrows and clung to you.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
ये कद्रू के पुत्र (काद्रवेय) तीखी दाढ़ों वाले और भयंकर विष वाले नाग थे, जो राक्षसी माया के प्रभाव से बाण बनकर आप (के शरीर) पर आश्रित हो गए थे (लिपटे थे)।
English Commentary
Here the mystery is revealed that they were not arrows, but snakes themselves.
