ततस्तु भीमस्तुमुलो निनादो बभूव शाखामृगयूथपानाम् ।
क्षये निदाघस्य यथा घनानां नादः सुभीमो नदतां निशीथे ॥६-५०-६५॥
tatastu bhīmastumulo ninādo babhūva śākhāmṛgayūthapānām |
kṣaye nidāghasya yathā ghanānāṃ nādaḥ subhīmo nadatāṃ niśīthe ॥6-50-65॥
Translation
Then arose a terrifying and tumultuous sound from the monkey commanders, like the exceedingly terrible sound of thundering clouds at midnight at the end of summer.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उन वानर सेनापतियों का भयानक और कोलाहलपूर्ण शब्द वैसा ही हुआ, जैसे ग्रीष्म ऋतु के अंत में अर्धरात्रि के समय गरजते हुए बादलों का महाभयानक शब्द होता है।
English Commentary
The final verse uses a simile to describe the power of the Vanara army. Just as the arrival of the monsoon ends the heat of summer, this roar of the monkeys signals the end of the Rakshasas' arrogance.
हिंदी टीका
अंतिम श्लोक में उपमा अलंकार द्वारा वानर सेना की शक्ति का वर्णन है। जैसे वर्षा ऋतु का आगमन ग्रीष्म के ताप को मिटा देता है, वैसे ही वानरों का यह गर्जन राक्षसों के अहंकार को मिटाने वाला है।
