विमुक्तौ शरबन्धेन तौ दृश्येते रणाजिरे ।
पाशानिव गजौ छित्त्वा गजेन्द्रसमविक्रमौ ॥६-५१-१२॥

English Commentary
The spies set the context by recalling the previous state of the brothers. Indrajit had rendered them 'nishprakampabhujau' (arms motionless). Recounting their total immobilization emphasizes the severity of the bond they have just broken, highlighting the miraculous nature of their recovery.
