राक्षसा मथिताः केचिद्वानरैर्जितकाशिभिः ।
ववमू रुधिरं केचिन्मुखै रुधिरभोजनाः ॥६-५२-१०॥
śilābhivividhābhīśca bahubhiścaiva pādapaīḥ |
rākṣasā mathitāḥ kecidvānarairjitakāśibhiḥ ॥6-52-10॥
Translation
Some Rakshasas were crushed with various kinds of rocks and many trees by the Vanaras who appeared victorious.
हिंदी अनुवाद
विजयी भाव वाले वानरों ने विविध प्रकार की शिलाओं और बहुत से वृक्षों से कुछ राक्षसों को कुचल दिया।
English Commentary
The Vanaras are described as 'Jitakashibhih', meaning they looked as if victory was already theirs. This is their supreme self-confidence. The continuous barrage of rocks and trees is dismantling the Rakshasas' defensive formations. This scene marks the beginning of the Vanara army's dominance.

वानरों को 'जितकाशिभिः' कहा गया है, अर्थात वे ऐसे लग रहे थे जैसे विजय निश्चित ही उनकी होगी। यह उनका आत्मविश्वास है। शिलाओं और वृक्षों का निरंतर प्रहार राक्षसों की रक्षा प्रणाली को ध्वस्त कर रहा है। यह दृश्य वानर सेना के वर्चस्व की शुरुआत को दर्शाता है।
