Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
वानरैर्भीमविक्रान्तैराप्लुत्याप्लुत्य वेगितैः ।
राक्षसाः करजैस्तीक्ष्णैर्मुखेषु विनिकर्तिताः ॥६-५२-१४॥
mathitaīrvājibhiḥ kīrṇaṃ mārorhevasudhātalam |
vānarairbhīmavikrāntaīrgapaplutyāplutya vegitaīḥ ॥6-52-14॥
Translation
The surface of the earth was strewn with crushed horses. The Vanaras of terrible prowess were leaping again and again and attacking with great speed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कुचले हुए घोड़ों से वह युद्ध भूमि का धरातल भर गया। भयंकर पराक्रम वाले वानर बार-बार उछलकर और वेग के साथ आक्रमण कर रहे थे।
English Commentary
The Vanaras' combat style, 'Aplutya' (leaping to strike), showcases their agility. The slaughter of horses neutralizes the Rakshasas' mobility. These heroic warriors of Shri Rama's army, without any formal weapons, are annihilating the enemy using only their bodies and speed.
हिंदी टीका
वानरों की युद्ध पद्धति 'आप्लुत्य' (उछलकर प्रहार करना) उनकी चपलता को दर्शाती है। घोड़ों का मारा जाना राक्षसों की गतिशीलता को समाप्त कर देता है। श्री राम की सेना के ये वीर योद्धा बिना किसी शस्त्र के केवल अपने शरीर और वेग से शत्रुओं का संहार कर रहे हैं।
