केचिद्विनिहताः शूलै रुधिरार्द्रा वनौकसः ।
केचिद्विद्राविता नष्टाः सबलै राक्षसैर्युधि ॥६-५२-२१॥
paridhaīrmathitāḥ kecid bhindipālaīrvidāritāḥ |
paṭṭasaīrgahatā kecidvihvalanto gatāsavaḥ ॥6-52-21॥
Translation
Some were crushed by iron clubs, some torn by slings/darts, and some struck by axes became distressed and lost their lives.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कुछ परिधों से कुचले गए, कुछ भिन्दिपालों से चीर दिए गए और कुछ पट्टसों से मारे जाकर व्याकुल होते हुए प्राणहीन हो गए।
English Commentary
The variety of Rakshasa weaponry is revealed here. The mention of 'Bhindipala' and 'Pattasa' indicates that Dhumraksha's army was technically very robust. For the Vanaras, this is a time of sacrifice, where they are offering their lives at the altar of Dharma.

राक्षसी अस्त्रों की विविधता यहाँ प्रकट होती है। 'भिन्दिपाल' और 'पट्टस' जैसे अस्त्रों का उल्लेख यह बताता है कि धूम्राक्ष की सेना तकनीकी रूप से बहुत सुदृढ़ थी। वानरों के लिए यह बलिदान का समय है, जहाँ वे धर्म की वेदी पर अपने प्राणों की आहुति दे रहे हैं।
