घोरैश्च परिघैश्चित्रैस्त्रिशूलैश्चापि संहतैः ।
राक्षसैर्वानरा घोरैर्विनिकृत्ताः समन्ततः ॥६-५२-३॥
ghoraiśca paridhaircitraistriśūlaiścāpi saṃhataīḥ |
rākṣasaīrvānarā ghorairvinikṛttāḥ samantataḥ ॥6-52-3॥
Translation
The bodies of the Vanaras were cut down from all sides by the Rakshasas using terrible and diverse iron clubs, tridents, and combined attacks.

राक्षसों द्वारा भयंकर और विचित्र परिधों, त्रिशूलों और संगठित प्रहारों से वानरों के शरीर सब ओर से काट दिए गए।
English Commentary
This verse describes the lethal striking capability of the Rakshasa army. They were using sharp weapons like iron clubs ('Paridha') and tridents ('Trishula'). The Vanara army sustains heavy physical casualties, yet their morale remains unbroken. This scene depicts the reality of war where those on the path of Dharma often endure extreme physical suffering.

राक्षसी सेना की घातक मारक क्षमता का यहाँ वर्णन है। वे परिध और त्रिशूल जैसे तीक्ष्ण अस्त्रों का प्रयोग कर रहे थे। वानर सेना को भारी शारीरिक क्षति हो रही है, किन्तु उनका मनोबल अटूट है। यह दृश्य युद्ध की उस वास्तविकता को दिखाता है जहाँ धर्म के मार्ग पर चलने वालों को भौतिक रूप से अत्यंत कष्ट सहन करना पड़ता है।
