वानरै राक्षसाश्चापि द्रुमैर्भूमौ समीकृताः ।
राक्षसाश्चापि सङ्क्रुद्धा वानरान्निशितैः शरैः ।
विव्यधुर्घोरसङ्काशैः कङ्कपत्रैरजिह्मगैः ॥६-५२-४॥
vānarai rākṣasāścāpi drumairbhūmau samīkṛtāḥ |
rākṣasāścāpi saṃkruddhā vānarā nniśitaiḥ śaraiḥ ॥6-52-4॥
Translation
The Vanaras too leveled the Rakshasas to the ground with tree trunks, while the enraged Rakshasas pierced the Vanaras with sharp arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वानरों ने भी वृक्षों के प्रहार से राक्षसों को भूमि पर सुला दिया (समतल कर दिया) और क्रोधित राक्षसों ने भी वानरों को तीखे बाणों से घायल किया।
English Commentary
The process of retaliation is clear here. 'Bhumau Samikritah' (leveled to the ground) showcases the massive physical strength of the Vanaras. The verse conveys that although the Rakshasas possess sophisticated weaponry, the innate prowess of the Vanaras is equally effective. The fire of anger and retribution is burning on both sides.

प्रतिघात की प्रक्रिया यहाँ स्पष्ट है। 'भूमौ समीकृताः' (मिट्टी में मिला देना) वानरों के प्रचंड शारीरिक बल को दिखाता है। यह श्लोक यह संदेश देता है कि यद्यपि राक्षसों के पास परिष्कृत शस्त्र हैं, वानरों का नैसर्गिक पराक्रम उनके समान ही प्रभावी है। दोनों पक्षों में क्रोध और प्रतिशोध की अग्नि प्रज्वलित है।
