विभिन्नशिरसो भूत्वा राक्षसाः शोणितोक्षिताः ।
द्रुमैः प्रव्यथिताश्चान्ये निपेतुर्धरणीतले ॥६-५२-३१॥
sa bhaṅktvā tu rathaṃ tasya hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ |
rakṣasāṃ kadanaṃ cakre sakandhavitapaīrdumaīḥ ॥6-52-31॥
Translation
Having broken his chariot, Shri Hanuman, the son of the Wind, began a slaughter of the Rakshasas using trees complete with their trunks and branches.

उसके रथ को तोड़कर, पवनपुत्र हनुमान जी ने टहनियों और पत्तों सहित वृक्षों से राक्षसों का संहार करना आरम्भ किया।
English Commentary
After destroying the chariot, Shri Hanuman's primary goal is now to scatter the Rakshasa army. He uses trees like maces. The term 'Sakandhavitapaih' shows the enormity of the trees, which only a hero like Shri Hanuman can wield. He is clearing the path for his army.

रथ नष्ट करने के बाद हनुमान जी का मुख्य लक्ष्य अब राक्षसी सेना को तितर-बितर करना है। वे वृक्षों को गदा की तरह प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। 'सकन्धविटपैः' शब्द वृक्ष की विशालता को दर्शाता है, जिसे केवल हनुमान जी जैसा वीर ही उठा सकता है। वे अपनी सेना का मार्ग प्रशस्त कर रहे हैं।
