स कपिर्मारुतबलस्तं प्रहारमचिन्तयन् ।
धूम्राक्षस्य शिरोमध्ये गिरिशृङ्गमपातयत् ॥६-५२-३६॥
tāḍitaḥ sa tathā tatra gadayā bhīmarūpayā |
sa kapirmārutabalastaṃ prahāramacintayan ॥6-52-36॥
Translation
Even though struck in that manner by that terrible mace, Shri Hanuman, who possessed the strength of the Wind, did not care for that blow.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस भयंकर गदा से उस प्रकार चोट खाकर भी, पवन के समान बल वाले उन हनुमान जी ने उस प्रहार की चिंता नहीं की।
English Commentary
Shri Hanuman is addressed as 'Marutabala'. Describing him as 'Achintayan' (not caring for/ignoring) even a thunder-like blow confirms his 'Vajra-deha' (adamantine body). For a devotee, the goal of serving the Lord is far above any physical pain. He remained standing firm.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी को 'मारुतबल' कहा गया है। वज्र के समान प्रहार को भी 'अचिन्तयन्' (चिंता न करना) कहना उनके वज्र-देह (बजरंग) होने की पुष्टि करता है। भक्त के लिए भगवान की सेवा का उद्देश्य शारीरिक पीड़ा से बहुत ऊपर होता है। वे अडिग खड़े रहे।
