शरनिर्भिन्नगात्रास्ते शूलनिर्भिन्नदेहिनः ।
जगृहुस्ते द्रुमांस्तत्र शिलाश्च हरियूथपाः ॥६-५२-७॥
amarṣājjanitodarṣāścakruḥ karmāṇyabhītavat |
śarairnirbhinnagātrāste śūlanirbhinnadehināḥ ॥6-52-7॥
Translation
Due to the courage born of indignation, those Vanaras, with limbs pierced by arrows and bodies torn by tridents, performed deeds of valor as if they were fearless.
हिंदी अनुवाद
क्रोध से उत्पन्न उत्साह के कारण, बाणों से बिंधे अंगों और शूलों से फटे शरीरों वाले वे वानर निर्भय होकर पराक्रम दिखाने लगे।
English Commentary
Anger here manifests as 'Amarsha' (indignation or intolerance toward injustice), which enhances one's spiritual luster. Fighting 'Abhitavat' (like those without fear) even in a wounded state is the supreme characteristic of their nature. This embodies the spirit of a holy war where the warrior forgets his individual existence and dedicates himself to the collective goal.

क्रोध यहाँ 'अमर्ष' (अन्याय के प्रति सहनशीलता का अभाव) के रूप में है, जो सात्विक तेज को बढ़ाता है। घायल अवस्था में भी 'अभीतवत्' (निडर की भांति) लड़ना उनके चरित्र की सर्वोच्च विशेषता है। यह धर्मयुद्ध की वह भावना है जहाँ योद्धा अपने व्यक्तिगत अस्तित्व को भूलकर सामूहिक लक्ष्य हेतु समर्पित हो जाता है।
