ते भीमवेगा हरयो नर्दमानास्ततस्ततः ।
ममन्थू राक्षसान् भीमान्नामानि च बभाषिरे ॥६-५२-८॥
jagṛhuste drumāṃstatra śilāśca hariyūthapāḥ |
te bhīmavegā harayo nardamānāstatastataḥ ॥6-52-8॥
Translation
There, the leaders of the Vanara troops seized trees and rocks. Those monkeys of terrible speed roared here and there.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वहाँ वानर यूथपतियों ने वृक्षों और शिलाओं को उठा लिया। अत्यंत तीव्र वेग वाले वे वानर इधर-उधर गर्जना करने लगे।
English Commentary
The Vanaras have now begun a coordinated counter-attack. Rocks and trees are their natural weapons. Their roars serve to exert psychological pressure on the Rakshasas. The term 'Bhimavega' (terrible speed) signifies their physical agility and the intensity of their assault.

वानरों ने अब संगठित रूप से पलटवार आरम्भ किया है। शिला और वृक्ष उनके स्वाभाविक शस्त्र हैं। उनकी गर्जना राक्षसों के मन में मनोवैज्ञानिक दबाव डालने का कार्य करती है। 'भीमवेगा' शब्द उनकी शारीरिक गतिशीलता और आक्रमण की तीव्रता का परिचायक है।
