एतानौत्पातिकान् दृष्ट्वा वज्रदंष्ट्रो महाबलः ।
धैर्यमालम्ब्य तेजस्वी निर्जगाम रणोत्सुकः ॥६-५३-१६॥
etānautpātikān dṛṣṭvā vajradaṃṣṭro mahābalaḥ |
dhairyamālambya tejasvī nirjagāma raṇotsukaḥ ॥6-53-16॥
Translation
Even after seeing these calamitous omens, the mighty and radiant Vajradamstra held onto his patience (courage) and marched out eager for battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इन उत्पातों (अपशकुनों) को देखकर भी महाबली और तेजस्वी वज्रदंष्ट्र धैर्य धारण करके रण के उत्साह के साथ निकला।
English Commentary
Vajradamstra's courage (or obstinacy) is evident here. Ignoring the signs, he marched towards his death, driven by battle-lust.

वज्रदंष्ट्र का साहस (या हठ) यहाँ दिखता है। विनाश काले विपरीत बुद्धि - वह संकेतों को अनदेखा कर अपनी मृत्यु की ओर बढ़ा।
