रथनेमिस्वनस्तत्र धनुषश्चापि निस्वनः ।
शङ्खभेरीमृदङ्गानां बभूव तुमुलः स्वनः ॥६-५३-२२॥
rathanemisvanastatra dhanuṣaścāpi niḥsvanaḥ |
śaṅkhabherīmṛdaṅgānāṃ babhūva tumulaḥ svanaḥ ॥6-53-22॥
Translation
There was a tumultuous noise arising from the rumbling of chariot wheels, the twang of bows, and the sounds of conches, drums, and Mridangas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वहाँ रथ के पहियों की घरघराहट, धनुष की टंकार, तथा शंख, भेरी और मृदंगों का मिला-जुला कोलाहल हो रहा था।
English Commentary
The soundscape of the war. This noise fueled the adrenaline of the warriors and terrified the weak.
