वानराणां तु शूरा ये सर्वे ते प्लवगर्षभाः ।
आयुद्ध्यन्त शिलाहस्ताः समवेताः समन्ततः ॥६-५४-४॥
vānarāṇāṃ tu śūrā ye sarve te plavagarṣabhāḥ |
ayudhyanta śilāhastāḥ samavetāḥ samantataḥ ॥6-54-4॥
Translation
The heroic and excellent ones among the monkeys also gathered from all sides and fought, holding rocks in their hands.

वानरों में जो शूरवीर और श्रेष्ठ थे, वे सब भी चारों ओर से एकत्र होकर हाथों में शिलाएं लेकर युद्ध करने लगे।
English Commentary
In contrast to the chariots and arrows of the demons, the Vanaras rely on nature. The term 'plavagarshabhah' (bulls among monkeys) denotes the elite warriors of the monkey army. Lacking manufactured weapons, they utilize immense boulders ('shila-hasta'), showcasing their brute strength and adaptability. Their gathering from all sides ('samantatah') indicates a strategic encirclement or a collective defensive maneuver. This highlights the theme of primal, devoted strength standing firm against sophisticated, mechanistic evil.

राक्षसों के आधुनिक शस्त्रों के उत्तर में वानरों का प्राकृतिक युद्ध कौशल यहाँ वर्णित है। 'प्लवगर्षभाः' (वानरों में श्रेष्ठ) शब्द उनके साहस और नेतृत्व क्षमता को दर्शाता है। यद्यपि उनके पास रथ या धनुष नहीं थे, फिर भी उनका उत्साह कम नहीं था। वे 'शिलाहस्ताः' अर्थात् हाथों में बड़ी-बड़ी चट्टानें लेकर संगठित रूप से (समवेताः) शत्रु का सामना कर रहे थे। यह भक्ति और नैसर्गिक शक्ति का प्रदर्शन है, जो यह सिद्ध करता है कि संसाधनों की कमी होने पर भी यदि आत्मबल और संगठन हो, तो शक्तिशाली शत्रु का सामना किया जा सकता है।
