शीघ्रं निर्यान्तु दुर्धर्षा राक्षसा भीमविक्रमाः ।
अकम्पनं पुरस्कृत्य सर्वशस्त्रास्त्रकोविदम् ॥६-५५-२॥
śīghraṃ niryāntu durdharṣā rākṣasā bhīmavikramāḥ |
akampanaṃ puraskṛtya sarvaśastrāstrakovidam ॥6-55-2॥
Translation
Let the invincible Rakshasas of terrible prowess quickly march out for battle, placing Akampana, who is an expert in all weapons and missiles, in the lead.

समस्त शस्त्रों और अस्त्रों के ज्ञाता अकम्पन को आगे करके, भयंकर पराक्रम वाले दुर्जेय राक्षस शीघ्र ही युद्ध के लिए प्रस्थान करें।
English Commentary
Ravana now entrusts the leadership to Akampana. The name 'Akampana' signifies one who is unshakable. Ravana believes that a master of weaponry like Akampana can halt the momentum of the Vanara forces. This reflects Ravana's military strategy of escalating the conflict by deploying increasingly experienced and formidable warriors following previous setbacks.

रावण अब अकम्पन को सेना का नेतृत्व सौंप रहा है। अकम्पन का अर्थ है जिसे हिलाया न जा सके। रावण को विश्वास है कि अकम्पन जैसा अस्त्र-शस्त्र का मर्मज्ञ वानर सेना के वेग को रोक पाएगा। यह श्लोक रावण की सैन्य रणनीति को दर्शाता है जहाँ वह पराजय के बाद और अधिक अनुभवी योद्धाओं को रणक्षेत्र में उतारता है।
