Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
आयुधं स्यन्दनं वापि ददृशे तेन रेणुना ।
शब्दश्च सुमहास्तेषां नर्दतामभिधावताम् ॥६-५५-२१॥
āyudhaṃ syandanaṃ vāpi dadṛśe tena reṇunā |
śabdaśca sumahāsteṣāṃ nardatāmabhidhāvatām ॥6-55-21॥
Translation
Due to that dust, neither weapons nor chariots could be seen. Only the immense roar of the warriors, as they rushed and shouted at each other, could be heard.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस धूल के कारण न शस्त्र दिखाई दे रहे थे और न ही रथ। केवल एक-दूसरे की ओर दौड़ते और गर्जना करते हुए योद्धाओं का महान कोलाहल ही सुनाई दे रहा था।
English Commentary
In the absence of sight, hearing became the only reliable sense. The glint of weapons and the grandeur of chariots were lost in the dust. This verse conveys that in war, situations often arise where logic and plans fail, and only one's indomitable courage can lead them forward.
हिंदी टीका
दृष्टि के अभाव में केवल श्रवण शक्ति ही एकमात्र सहारा बची थी। शस्त्रों की चमक और रथों का वैभव धूल में खो गया है। यह श्लोक यह संदेश देता है कि युद्ध में अक्सर वह स्थिति आती है जहाँ बुद्धि और योजनाएं काम नहीं करतीं, केवल व्यक्ति का अपना अदम्य साहस ही उसे आगे ले जाता है।
