हरयो राक्षसाश्चैव जघुरन्योन्यमोजसा ।
बाहुभिः परिघाकारैर्युध्यन्तः पर्वतोपमाः ॥६-५५-२६॥
harayo rākṣasāścaiva jaghnuranyonyamojasā |
bāhubhiḥ parighākāraīryudhyantaḥ parvatopamāḥ ॥6-55-26॥
Translation
The Vanaras and Rakshasas, who were as massive as mountains, began to strike each other with force using their arms which were like iron clubs.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पर्वतों के समान विशाल वानर और राक्षस, परिध के समान अपनी भुजाओं से बलपूर्वक एक-दूसरे पर प्रहार करने लगे।
English Commentary
The battle has now become more direct and physical. 'Parvatopamah' signifies the massive size of the warriors, while comparing their arms to 'Paridha' (iron clubs) reveals the crushing power of their blows. It is a fierce duel akin to wrestling where only brute strength remains decisive.

अब युद्ध अधिक प्रत्यक्ष और शारीरिक हो गया है। 'पर्वतोपमाः' योद्धाओं की विशालता को दर्शाता है और उनकी भुजाओं की तुलना 'परिध' (लोहे की छड़) से करना उनके प्रहार की शक्ति को प्रकट करता है। यह मल्ल-युद्ध के समान घोर द्वंद्व है जहाँ केवल बाहुबल ही निर्णायक है।
