हरयो भीमकर्मार्णा राक्षसाञ्जघ्नुराहवे ।
राक्षसास्त्वपि संक्रुद्धाः प्रासतोमरपाणयः ॥६-५५-२७॥
harayo bhīmakarmāṇā rākṣasāñjaghnu rāhave |
rākṣasāstvapi saṃkruddhāḥ prāsatomarapāṇayaḥ ॥6-55-27॥
Translation
The Vanaras of terrible deeds began to slay the Rakshasas in battle, and the extremely enraged Rakshasas, holding spears and javelins in their hands—

भयंकर कर्म करने वाले वानर युद्ध में राक्षसों को मारने लगे और हाथ में प्रास तथा तोमर लिए हुए अत्यंत क्रोधित राक्षस भी—
English Commentary
This describes the continuous flow of slaughter between both sides. Calling the Vanaras 'Bhimakarmanah' refers to their cruel and powerful strikes against the enemies. The Rakshasas retaliate with their traditional weapons (spears and javelins). It is the peak of valor and retribution.

दोनों पक्षों के बीच होने वाले संहार का यह निरंतर प्रवाह है। वानरों को 'भीमकर्मणाः' कहना उनके शत्रुओं के प्रति क्रूर प्रहारों को दर्शाता है। राक्षस अपने परंपरागत शस्त्रों (प्रास और तोमर) के साथ जवाबी हमला कर रहे हैं। यह वीरता और प्रतिशोध की पराकाष्ठा है।
