Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
कदनं सुमहच्चक्रुर्लीलया हरियूथपाः ।
ममन्थू राक्षसान् सर्वे वानरा गणशो भृशम् ॥६-५५-३२॥
kadanaṃ sumahaccakrurlīlayā hariyūthapāḥ |
mamanthū rākṣasān sarve vānarā gaṇaśo bhṛśam ॥6-55-32॥
Translation
Those Vanara troop-leaders performed a great slaughter with ease (as if in play). All those monkeys, in groups, thoroughly crushed the Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन वानर यूथपतियों ने खेल-खेल में ही बहुत बड़ा संहार किया। उन सभी वानरों ने टोलियाँ बनाकर राक्षसों को पूरी तरह से कुचल दिया।
English Commentary
The Vanaras conducting the slaughter 'Lilaya' (as if in play) reflects their immense power and their disdain for the Rakshasas. They are now fighting in groups ('Ganashah'), a new and effective tactical approach. This verse concludes the segment with the dominance of the Vanara forces and the helpless state of the Rakshasa army.

वानरों का 'लीलया' (खेल-खेल में) संहार करना उनकी अगाध शक्ति और राक्षसों के प्रति उनके तिरस्कार को दर्शाता है। वे अब टोलियों (गणशः) में लड़ रहे हैं, जो एक नई और प्रभावी युद्ध पद्धति है। यह श्लोक वानर सेना के वर्चस्व और राक्षसी सेना की असहाय अवस्था के साथ इस भाग को समाप्त करता है।
