परिगृह्य स तामाज्ञां रावणस्य महाबलः ।
बलं संत्वरयामास तदा लघुपराक्रमः ॥६-५५-५॥
parigṛhya sa tāmājñāṃ rāvaṇasya mahābalaḥ |
balaṃ saṃtvarayāmāsa tadā laghuparākramaḥ ॥6-55-5॥
Translation
Accepting that command of Ravana, the mighty army chief of swift prowess then immediately ordered his forces to prepare for battle.

रावण की उस आज्ञा को शिरोधार्य करके, शीघ्र पराक्रम दिखाने वाले उस महाबली सेनापति ने तब अपनी सेना को तुरंत तैयार होने का आदेश दिया।
English Commentary
Upon receiving the sovereign's command, the army chief becomes instantly active. The term 'Laghuparakramah' signifies his agility and efficiency. In the Rakshasa administration, commands were executed with absolute strictness and speed, signaling the preparation for the next brutal phase of the conflict.

स्वामी की आज्ञा मिलते ही सेनापति सक्रिय हो जाता है। 'लघुपराक्रमः' शब्द उसकी फुर्ती और कार्यक्षमता को दर्शाता है। राक्षसी शासन व्यवस्था में आज्ञा का पालन अत्यंत कठोरता और वेग से किया जाता था। यहाँ युद्ध के अगले भयंकर चरण की तैयारी का चित्रण है।
