राक्षसैः संवृतो भीमस्तदा निर्यात्यकम्पनः ।
न हि कम्पयितुं शक्यः सुरैरपि महामृधे ॥६-५५-८॥
rākṣasaiḥ saṃvṛto bhīmastadā niryātyakampanaḥ |
na hi kampayituṃ śakyaḥ surairapi mahāmṛdhe ॥6-55-8॥
Translation
Surrounded by terrifying Rakshasas, Akampana set out; he whom even the gods were unable to shake or perturb in a great battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
भयंकर राक्षसों से घिरे हुए अकम्पन ने तब प्रस्थान किया, जिसे महान युद्ध में देवता भी विचलित करने में समर्थ नहीं थे।
English Commentary
The mention of Akampana's invincibility justifies his name, which means 'the unshakable'. The fact that even the Devas could not perturb him highlights his mental fortitude and physical strength. The Vanara army now had to face such a formidable foe, underscoring the escalating intensity of the war.

अकम्पन की अपराजेयता का उल्लेख उसे 'अकम्पन' नाम की सार्थकता प्रदान करता है। देवताओं द्वारा भी विचलित न किया जा सकना उसकी मानसिक दृढ़ता और शारीरिक बल का प्रमाण है। ऐसे दुर्जेय शत्रु का सामना अब वानर सेना को करना था, जो युद्ध की बढ़ती हुई विभीषिका को रेखांकित करता है।
