तं गृहीत्वा महाशैलं पाणिनैकेन मारुतिः ।
स विनद्य महानादं भ्रामयामास वीर्यवान् ॥६-५६-१६॥
taṃ gṛhītvā mahāśailaṃ pāṇinaikena mārutiḥ |
sa vinadya mahānādaṃ bhrāmayāmāsa vīryavān ॥6-56-16॥
Translation
Holding that huge mountain with a single hand, the valiant Maruti (Hanuman) roared loudly and spun it around.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वीर्यवान मारुति (हनुमान) ने उस विशाल पर्वत को एक हाथ से पकड़कर, महान गर्जना करते हुए (हवा में) घुमाया।
English Commentary
Lifting a mountain with a single hand demonstrates Hanuman's boundless strength. This sight was enough to strike terror into the heart of the enemy.

एक हाथ से पर्वत उठाना हनुमान जी की असीम शक्ति का प्रदर्शन है। यह दृश्य शत्रु के मन में भय उत्पन्न करने के लिए पर्याप्त था।
