इत्युक्तास्ते प्रहस्तेन बलाध्यक्षाः कृतत्वराः ।
बलमुद्योजयामासुस्तस्मिन् राक्षसमन्दिरे ॥६-५७-२०॥
ityuktāste prahastena balādhyakṣāḥ kṛtatvarāḥ |
balamudyojayāmāsustasmin rākṣasamindire ॥6-57-20॥
Translation
Addressed thus by Prahasta, those army chiefs, acting with haste, mobilized the army in that abode of Rakshasas (Lanka).
हिंदी अनुवाद
प्रहस्त के द्वारा ऐसा कहे जाने पर, उन सेनानायकों ने शीघ्रता करते हुए उस राक्षस-भवन (लंका) में सेना को तैयार किया।
English Commentary
The execution of orders is swift ('krtatvarah'). The mobilization illustrates the discipline and readiness of the Rakshasa forces. The term 'Rakshasamindire' (in the abode/palace of Rakshasas) suggests that the mobilization took place within the city's heart, turning the capital into a bustling military camp instantly.

सेनापति का आदेश मिलते ही पूरी लंका की युद्ध मशीनरी सक्रिय हो गई। 'कृतत्वराः' (जल्दी करते हुए) शब्द बताता है कि राक्षसों में अनुशासन और तत्परता थी। 'राक्षसमिन्दिरे' (राक्षसों के घर/भवन) में चारों ओर युद्ध की तैयारी की हलचल मच गई। यह श्लोक लंका की सैन्य दक्षता का प्रमाण है कि वे कितनी तेजी से एक विशाल सेना को युद्ध के लिए सन्नद्ध कर सकते थे।
