स्रजश्च विविधाकारा जगृहुस्त्वभिमन्त्रिताः ।
सङ्ग्रामसज्जाः संहृष्टा धारयन् राक्षसास्तदा ॥६-५७-२३॥
srajaśca vividhākārā jagṛhustvabhimantritāḥ |
saṃgrāmasajjāḥ saṃhṛṣṭā dhārayan rākṣasāstadā ॥6-57-23॥
Translation
Ready for battle and overjoyed, the Rakshasas took up various kinds of consecrated garlands and wore them.

संग्श्री राम के लिए तैयार और हर्षित राक्षसों ने विविध प्रकार की अभिमन्त्रित मालाएं ग्रहण कीं और उन्हें धारण किया।
English Commentary
The Rakshasas prepare for war with both martial gear and magical protection. Wearing 'abhimantrita' (consecrated/charmed) garlands suggests a reliance on occult powers for protection in battle. Their joy ('samhrishta') indicates high morale and eagerness to fight. It portrays war as a ceremonial and glorious event for the Rakshasa race.

राक्षस सैनिक युद्ध को उत्सव की तरह ले रहे थे। 'संहृष्टा' (हर्षित) शब्द उनके मनोबल को दिखाता है। उन्होंने 'अभिमन्त्रित' (मंत्रों से सिद्ध की हुई) मालाएं पहनीं, जो उन्हें सुरक्षा और विजय प्रदान करने के लिए थीं। यह तांत्रिक या जादुई सुरक्षा का संकेत है जिसका प्रयोग राक्षस युद्ध में करते थे। वे पूरी तरह से सुसज्जित और आध्यात्मिक रूप से तैयार होकर निकले।
