ततस्तं रथमास्थाय रावणार्पितशासनः ।
लङ्काया निर्ययौ तूर्णं बलेन महता वृतः ॥६-५७-२८॥
tatastaṃ rathamāsthāya rāvaṇārpitaśāsanaḥ |
laṅkāyā niryayau tūrṇaṃ balena mahatā vṛtaḥ ॥6-57-28॥
Translation
Then, having received Ravana's command and mounting that chariot, Prahasta went out of Lanka quickly, surrounded by a great army.

तदनंतर रावण का आदेश प्राप्त कर, उस रथ पर सवार होकर प्रहस्त विशाल सेना से घिरा हुआ लंका से शीघ्रता से निकला।
English Commentary
The procession begins. Carrying the King's mandate ('ravana-arpita-shasanah'), Prahasta exits the city gates. The urgency ('turnam') and the scale of the accompanying force ('balena mahata') signal the start of a major offensive. This marks the transition from the planning and preparation phase within the city to the active combat phase outside.

अंततः, कूच शुरू हुआ। 'रावणार्पितशासनः'—रावण के आदेश को शिरोधार्य कर वह निकला। 'तूर्णम्' (शीघ्रता से) शब्द पुनः आता है, जो स्थिति की गंभीरता और प्रहस्त की तत्परता को दिखाता है। वह अकेला नहीं, बल्कि एक 'विशाल सेना' के केंद्र में था। यह महाविनाश की ओर बढ़ता हुआ जुलूस था।
