व्यूढेनैव सुघोरेण पूर्वद्वारात् स निर्ययौ ।
गजयूथनिकाशेन बलेन महता वृतः ॥६-५७-३२॥
prahastasacivā hyete niryayuḥ parivārya tam |
vyūḍhenaiva sughoreṇa pūrvadvārāt sa niryayau ॥6-57-32॥
Translation
These ministers of Prahasta went out surrounding him. He marched out through the Eastern Gate with a well-arranged and terrible military formation.

प्रहस्त के ये सचिव (सहायक) उसे घेरकर निकले। वह (प्रहस्त) सुगठित और अत्यंत भयानक व्यूह रचना के साथ पूर्वी द्वार से बाहर निकला।

ये चारों 'सचिव' (मंत्री/सहायक) के रूप में कार्य कर रहे थे। प्रहस्त 'पूर्वी द्वार' से निकला। श्री रामायण में पूर्वी द्वार प्रायः मुख्य युद्ध क्षेत्र रहा है जहाँ नील (वानर सेनापति) तैनात थे। 'व्यूढेन' शब्द बताता है कि वे भीड़ की तरह नहीं, बल्कि एक विशेष सैन्य व्यूह (फॉर्मेशन) बनाकर निकले थे। यह राक्षसों की रणनीतिक समझ को दर्शाता है।
