सागरप्रतिमौघेन वृतस्तेन बलेन सः ।

English Commentary
The poet uses distinct metaphors to convey the scale of the army. It looked like a 'herd of elephants' (dark, massive, unstoppable) and moved like an 'ocean tide' (vast, fluid, overwhelming). These images reinforce the idea that Prahasta's force was a force of nature, seemingly insurmountable for the Vanaras.

सेना की विशालता के लिए दो उपमाएं दी गई हैं—'गजयूथ' (हाथियों का झुंड) और 'सागरौघ' (सागर का प्रवाह/बाढ़)। सेना इतनी काली और विशाल थी कि हाथियों जैसी लगती थी और उसकी गति सागर की लहरों जैसी थी जो सब कुछ बहा ले जाने को आतुर हो। यह प्रहस्त की शक्ति का चरम प्रदर्शन है।
