ततः प्रहस्तं निर्यान्तं दृष्ट्वा भीमपराक्रमम् ।
उवाच सस्मितं रामो विभीषणमरिन्दमः ॥६-५८-१॥
tataḥ prahastaṃ niryāntaṃ dṛṣṭvā bhīmaparākramam |
uvāca sasmitaṃ rāmo vibhīṣaṇamarindamaḥ ॥6-58-1॥
Translation
Then, seeing the terribly powerful Prahasta marching out, Shri Rama, the subduer of enemies, spoke to Vibhishana with a smile.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाले श्री राम ने भयंकर पराक्रमी प्रहस्त को लंका से बाहर निकलते देख विभीषण से मुस्कुराते हुए यह कहा।
English Commentary
Shri Rama's smile in this verse symbolizes His invincible confidence. Even in the grim atmosphere of war, He remains unperturbed. By asking Vibhishana about the enemy, He demonstrates the qualities of a strategic warrior and a perfect leader. This smile is intended to strike fear into the hearts of demons while instilling absolute faith in His devotees.

यहाँ श्री राम की मुखाकृति पर मुस्कान उनके अजेय आत्मविश्वास का प्रतीक है। युद्ध के भीषण वातावरण में भी वे विचलित नहीं हैं। वे विभीषण से शत्रु के विषय में पूछ रहे हैं, जो उनके एक कुशल योद्धा और नेतृत्वकर्ता होने को दर्शाता है। यह मुस्कुराहट असुरों के मन में भय और भक्तों के मन में विश्वास उत्पन्न करने वाली है।
