नरान्तकः कुम्भहनुर्महानादः समुन्नतः ।
एते प्रहस्तसचिवाः सर्वे जघ्नुर्वनौकसः ॥६-५८-१९॥
narāntakaḥ kumbhahanurmahānādaḥ samunnataḥ |
ete prahastasacivāḥ sarve jaghnurvanaukasaḥ ॥6-58-19॥
Translation
Narantaka, Kumbhahanu, Mahanada, and Samunnata—all these ministers of Prahasta began to slay the forest-dwellers (Vanaras).
हिंदी अनुवाद
नरान्तक, कुम्भहनु, महानाद और समुन्नत— प्रहस्त के ये सभी सचिव (मन्त्री) वानरों का संहार करने लगे।
English Commentary
The details of Prahasta's generals or ministers are given here. They are not just counselors but expert warriors. Their entry into the fray is a major challenge for the Vanara army. Their very names suggest their terrifying forms and actions.
