उद्धूत इव वायुः खे महदभ्रबलं बलात् ।
समीक्ष्याभिद्रुतं युद्धे प्रहस्तो वाहिनीपतिः ॥६-५८-३५॥
uddhūta iva vāyuḥ khe mahadabhrabalaṃ balāt |
samīkṣyābhidrutaṃ yuddhe prahasta vāhinīpatiḥ ॥6-58-35॥
Translation
Like a powerful wind scattering a mass of clouds in the sky, seeing Nila rushing toward him, the army-chief Prahasta advanced in the battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे आकाश में प्रबल वायु बादलों के समूह को तितर-बितर कर देती है, वैसे ही अपनी ओर आते हुए नील को देख सेनापति प्रहस्त युद्ध के लिए बढ़ा।
English Commentary
Nila's speed is like the wind. Prahasta, too, is not one to retreat. Seeing Nila approach, he was not perturbed but advanced with even greater zeal. This foreshadows the collision between the two supreme commanders.
हिंदी टीका
नील का वेग वायु के समान है। प्रहस्त भी पीछे हटने वाला नहीं है। वह नील को अपनी ओर आते देख विचलित नहीं हुआ, बल्कि युद्ध के लिए और अधिक उत्साहित होकर बढ़ा। यहाँ दो प्रधान सेनापतियों के बीच होने वाली टक्कर का पूर्वाभास मिलता है।
