रथेनादित्यवर्णेन नीलमेवाभिदुद्रुवे ।
स धनुर्धन्विनां श्रेष्ठो विकृष्य परमाहवे ॥६-५८-३६॥
rathenādityavarṇena nīlamevābhidudruve |
sa dhanurdhanvināṃ śreṣṭho vikṛṣya paramāhave ॥6-58-36॥
Translation
Mounted on a chariot with the brilliance of the sun, that best among archers, Prahasta, rushed toward Nila and drew his bow.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सूर्य के समान चमकते हुए रथ पर सवार होकर वह धनुर्धारियों में श्रेष्ठ प्रहस्त नील की ओर ही दौड़ा और अपना धनुष खींच लिया।
English Commentary
Prahasta's chariot is 'Adityavarna' (sun-like), reflecting his glory. Calling him the best among archers is an acknowledgment of his proficiency. He is about to use his best weapon to attempt to destroy Nila.

प्रहस्त का रथ 'आदित्यवर्ण' (सूर्य के समान) है, जो उसके गौरव को दर्शाता है। उसे 'धनुर्विनां श्रेष्ठः' कहना उसकी निपुणता की स्वीकारोक्ति है। वह नील को नष्ट करने के लिए अपने सर्वश्रेष्ठ अस्त्र का प्रयोग करने जा रहा है।
