नीलाय व्यसृजद्बाणान् प्रहस्तो वाहिनीपतिः ।
ते प्राप्य विशिखा नीलं विनिर्भिद्य समाहिताः ॥६-५८-३७॥
nīlāya vyasṛjadbāṇān prahasto vāhinīpatiḥ |
te prāpya viśikhā nīlaṃ vinirbhidya samāhitāḥ ॥6-58-37॥
Translation
The army-chief Prahasta discharged arrows at Nila. Those shafts, having reached Nila and pierced him—

सेनापति प्रहस्त ने नील पर बाण छोड़े। वे बाण नील के शरीर को भेदकर—
English Commentary
Prahasta's strike is precise and swift. The arrows piercing through Nila's body ('Vinirbhidya') is proof of their lethal nature. This is a time of trial for Nila, where he must endure the pain and deliver a counter-strike.
हिंदी टीका
प्रहस्त का प्रहार सटीक और तीव्र है। बाणों का नील के शरीर को 'विनिर्भिद्य' (भेदकर) निकल जाना उनके प्राणघातक होने का प्रमाण है। नील के लिए यह परीक्षा का समय है जहाँ उन्हें इस पीड़ा को सहकर प्रत्युत्तर देना है।
