स तं परमदुर्धर्षमापतन्तं महाकपिः ।
प्रहस्तं ताडयामास वृक्षमुत्पाट्य वीर्यवान् ॥६-५८-३९॥
sa taṃ paramadur dharṣamāpatantaṃ mahākapiḥ |
prahastaṃ tāḍayāmāsa vṛkṣamutpāṭya vīryavān ॥6-58-39॥
Translation
Despite being wounded, the valiant and great monkey Nila, uprooting a tree, struck the exceedingly invincible Prahasta who was rushing toward him.
हिंदी अनुवाद
घायल होने पर भी बलवान महाकपि नील ने अपनी ओर आते हुए अत्यंत दुर्जेय प्रहस्त पर एक वृक्ष उखाड़कर प्रहार किया।
English Commentary
Nila's response is consistent with his Vanara nature and highly effective. He answers arrows with a tree. This demonstrates his 'Virya' (prowess)—even after being hit, he was not shaken but instead overwhelmed the enemy.

नील का उत्तर उनकी वानर प्रकृति के अनुरूप और अत्यंत प्रभावी है। उन्होंने बाणों का उत्तर वृक्ष से दिया। यह उनकी 'वीर्य' (पराक्रम) को दर्शाता है कि चोट खाने के बाद भी वे विचलित नहीं हुए बल्कि शत्रु पर भारी पड़े।
