निमीलिताक्षः सहसा नीलः सेहे सुदारुणम् ।
रोषितः शरवर्षेण सालेन महता महान् ॥६-५८-४३॥
nimīlitākṣaḥ sahasā nīlaḥ sehe sudāruṇam |
roṣitaḥ śaravarṣeṇa sālena mahatā mahān ॥6-58-43॥
Translation
Having suddenly endured that terrible pain with eyes closed, the great Nila, enraged by the shower of arrows, with a huge Sala tree—

अचानक आई उस दारुण पीड़ा को आँखें बंद करके सहने के बाद, बाण-वर्षा से क्रोधित हुए महान नील ने एक विशाल साल के वृक्ष से—
English Commentary
After endurance comes the time for reaction. The word 'Roshitah' (enraged) suggests that Nila's fury is ready to erupt like a volcano. He chose a Sala tree, symbolizing his strength and his resolve for the enemy's destruction.

सहनशीलता के बाद अब प्रतिक्रिया का समय है। 'रोषितः' शब्द यह बताता है कि नील का क्रोध अब ज्वालामुखी की तरह फटने को तैयार है। उन्होंने साल के वृक्ष को चुना, जो उनकी शक्ति और शत्रु के विनाश के संकल्प का प्रतीक है।
