प्रजघान हयान्नीलः प्रहस्तस्य मनोजवान् ।
ततः स चापमुद्गृह्य प्रहस्तस्य महाबलः ॥६-५८-४४॥
prajaghāna hayānnīlaḥ prahastasya manojavān |
tataḥ sa cāpamudgṛhya prahastasya mahābalaḥ ॥6-58-44॥
Translation
Nila killed Prahasta's horses, which were as swift as the mind. Then the mighty Nila, seizing Prahasta's bow—

नील ने प्रहस्त के मन के समान वेग वाले घोड़ों को मार डाला। फिर उन महाबली नील ने प्रहस्त के धनुष को पकड़कर—
English Commentary
Nila struck at Prahasta's mobility (the horses). The death of the horses is like the removal of Prahasta's defensive shield. Following this, he targeted the primary weapon (the bow), marking the beginning of Prahasta's defeat.
हिंदी टीका
नील ने प्रहस्त की गतिशीलता (घोड़ों) पर प्रहार किया। घोड़ों का मरना प्रहस्त के लिए रक्षात्मक कवच के हटने जैसा है। इसके बाद उन्होंने उसके मुख्य अस्त्र (धनुष) पर हाथ डाला, जो प्रहस्त की हार की शुरुआत है।
