बभञ्ज तरसा नीलो ननाद च पुनःपुनः ।
विधनुस्तु कृतस्तेन प्रहस्तो वाहिनीपतिः ॥६-५८-४५॥
babhañja tarasā nīlo nanāda ca punaḥ punaḥ |
vidhanustu kṛtasteua prahasto vāhinīpatiḥ ॥6-58-45॥
Translation
Nila broke it (the bow) with force and roared repeatedly. He rendered the army-chief Prahasta bowless.
हिंदी अनुवाद
नील ने वेगपूर्वक उसे तोड़ डाला और बार-बार गर्जना करने लगे। उन्होंने सेनापति प्रहस्त को धनुषविहीन कर दिया।
English Commentary
The breaking of the bow is a state of great humiliation and helplessness for a warrior. Nila's roar expresses his confidence in victory. Now Prahasta must descend from the chariot and fight, where Nila's physical strength will be more effective.

धनुष का टूटना एक योद्धा के लिए महान अपमान और असहायता की स्थिति है। नील की गर्जना उनकी विजय के विश्वास को प्रकट करती है। अब प्रहस्त को रथ से उतरकर लड़ना होगा, जहाँ नील का बाहुबल अधिक प्रभावी होगा।
