ततः सम्प्रेक्ष्य जग्राह महावेगो महाशिलाम् ।
तस्य युद्धाभिकामस्य मृधे मुसलयोधिनः ॥६-५८-५३॥
tataḥ saṃprekṣya jagrāha mahāvego mahāśilām |
tasya yuddhābhikāmasya mṛdhe musalayodhinaḥ ॥6-58-53॥
Translation
Then, seeing him, the exceedingly swift Nila seized a massive rock. Of that Prahasta, who was eager for battle and was fighting with a club—

तब उसे देखकर अत्यंत वेगवान नील ने एक विशाल शिला उठा ली। युद्ध की इच्छा रखने वाले और मूसल से लड़ने वाले उस प्रहस्त के—
English Commentary
Nila decided to answer the club with a rock. A rock is heavier and capable of delivering a more destructive blow. Prahasta's club-fighting is now nearing its end. 'Mahavego' reflects Nila's incredible agility.

नील ने मूसल का उत्तर शिला से देने का निश्चय किया। शिला अधिक भारी और विनाशकारी प्रहार करने में सक्षम है। प्रहस्त का मूसल-युद्ध अब उसके अंत की ओर बढ़ रहा है। 'महावेगो' नील की स्फूर्ति को दर्शाता है।
