ततो दानवदर्पघ्नं सौमित्रिं देवकण्टकः ।
तं पीडयित्वा बाहुभ्यामप्रभुर्लङ्घने ऽभवत् ॥ ६.५९.११३ ॥ अथैवं वैष्णवं भागं मानुषं देहमास्थितम् ॥ ॥६-५९-११३॥
taṃ pīḍayitvā bāhubhyāmaprabhurlaṅghane'bhavat |
atha vāyusutaḥ kruddho rāvaṇaṃ samabhidravat ॥6-59-113॥
Translation
...squeezing him with his arms, was unable to move/lift him. Then, the angry son of Vayu (Hanuman) rushed towards Ravana.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...उन्हें भुजाओं से दबाकर (उठाने की कोशिश में) उन्हें हिलाने में असमर्थ हुआ। तब क्रोधित वायुपुत्र (हनुमान) रावण की ओर दौड़े।
English Commentary
Ravana's futile struggle renders him vulnerable. Seeing Lakshmana in danger, Hanuman intervenes. His rush ('samabhidravat') is fueled by protective rage. This marks the entry of the mightiest Vanara into this specific engagement to rescue the fallen prince.
हिंदी टीका
जब रावण लक्ष्मण को उठाने में विफल रहा, तो हनुमान जी ने यह दृश्य देखा। वे 'क्रुद्ध' होकर रावण पर झपटे। हनुमान और लक्ष्मण का संबंध विशेष है। रावण, जो अभी-अभी लक्ष्मण को उठाने में अपनी ऊर्जा व्यय कर चुका था, अब हनुमान के क्रोध का सामना करने वाला था।
