शत्रूणामप्रकम्प्यो ऽपि लघुत्वमगमत् कपेः ।
तं समुत्सृज्य सा शक्तिः सौमित्रिं युधि दुर्जयम् ॥६-५९-१२०॥
taṃ samutsṛjya sā śaktiḥ saumitriṃ yudhi durjayam |
rāvaṇasya rathe tasmin sthānaṃ punarupāgatā ॥6-59-120॥
Translation
Leaving the son of Sumitra, who is unconquerable in battle, that Shakti returned again to its place in Ravana's chariot.
हिंदी अनुवाद
युद्ध में दुर्जय सुमित्राकुमार को छोड़कर वह शक्ति पुनः रावण के उस रथ में अपने स्थान पर वापस आ गई।
English Commentary
The mystical nature of the weapon is described. The Shakti, having struck its target, disengages and returns to Ravana's chariot. This confirms that the weapon was not a disposable spear but a summonable divine asset.

यह एक दैवीय अस्त्र की विशेषता है। अपना कार्य करके या विफल होकर वह स्वामी के पास लौट आती है। शक्ति लक्ष्मण के शरीर से निकलकर रावण के पास चली गई। इससे लक्ष्मण के प्राण तो बच गए, लेकिन घाव रह गया।
