रावणस्य रथे तस्मिन् स्थानं पुनरुपागता ।
आश्वस्तश्च विशल्यश्च लक्ष्मणः शत्रुसूदनः ॥६-५९-१२१॥
āśvastaśca viśalyaśca lakṣmaṇaḥ śatrusūdanaḥ |
viṣṇorbhāgamīmāṃsyamātmānaṃ pratyanusmaran ॥6-59-121॥
Translation
Lakshmana, the destroyer of enemies, became comforted and free from the pain/weapon, remembering himself as the inconceivable part of Vishnu.

शत्रुसूदन लक्ष्मण आश्वस्त (चेतनायुक्त) और शल्य-रहित (पीड़ा/बाण रहित) हो गए; क्योंकि वे विष्णु के अचिन्त्य भाग स्वरूप अपनी आत्मा का स्मरण कर रहे थे।
English Commentary
Lakshmana recovers primarily through spiritual self-awareness. By focusing on his divinity ('Vishnor bhagam'), he transcends the physical pain ('vishalyah'). This suggests that for divine beings, memory of their true self is a source of healing and power.

लक्ष्मण का उपचार आध्यात्मिक था। अपने विष्णु-अंश ('विष्णोर्भागम्') का स्मरण करने से वे 'विशल्य' (दर्द/शस्त्र से मुक्त) और स्वस्थ हो गए। यद्यपि बाद में औषधीय उपचार (संजीवनी) की आवश्यकता पड़ी (जो अन्य सर्गों में वर्णित है), यहाँ तात्कालिक राहत उनके आत्म-बल और दैवीय स्वरूप के स्मरण से मिली।
