राघवस्तु रणे दृष्ट्वा रावणं समभिद्रवत् ।
अथैनमुपसङ्गम्य हनुमान् वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥६-५९-१२४॥
athainamupasaṃgamya hanumān vākyamabravīt |
mama pṛṣṭhaṃ samāruhya rākṣasaṃ śāstumarhasi ॥6-59-124॥
Translation
Then, approaching him, Hanuman spoke these words: 'Climbing onto my back, you should punish the Rakshasa.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब हनुमान ने उनके (श्री राम के) पास जाकर यह वचन कहा—'मेरी पीठ पर चढ़कर आप राक्षस को दंड देने योग्य हैं (दंड दीजिये)।
English Commentary
Hanuman offers a strategic solution. Seeing the disadvantage of Shri Rama fighting on foot against a charioteer, Hanuman offers his back as a mount. This gesture combines practical tactics with devotional service.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी ने देखा कि श्री राम पैदल हैं और रावण रथ पर। यह धर्मयुद्ध के नियमों के विरुद्ध और अलाभकारी था। अतः हनुमान ने स्वयं को 'वाहन' के रूप में प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने श्री राम से आग्रह किया कि वे उनकी पीठ पर सवार होकर युद्ध करें।
