अथेन्द्रशत्रुं तरसा जघान बाणेन वज्राशनिसन्निभेन ।
भुजान्तरे व्यूढसुजातरूपे वज्रेण मेरुं भगवानिवेन्द्रः ॥६-५९-१३८॥
athendraśatruṃ tarasā jaghāna bāṇena vajrāśanisannibhena |
bhujāntare vyūḍhasujātarūpe vajreṇa meruṃ bhagavānivendraḥ ॥6-59-138॥
Translation
Then he struck the enemy of Indra with speed with an arrow resembling a thunderbolt in his broad and beautiful chest, just as Lord Indra struck Meru with his Vajra.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इसके बाद (श्री राम ने) वज्र और बिजली के समान (प्रभा वाले) बाण से इन्द्रशत्रु (रावण) की विशाल और सुंदर (सुजात) छाती (भुजाओं के बीच) में वैसे ही वेग से प्रहार किया, जैसे भगवान इन्द्र ने वज्र से मेरु पर्वत पर प्रहार किया था।
English Commentary
The decisive blow. Shri Rama strikes Ravana's chest with a thunderbolt-like arrow. The comparison to Indra striking Mount Meru emphasizes the solidity of Ravana and the overwhelming force of Shri Rama. It's a clash of titans where the immovable object (Ravana) meets the unstoppable force (Shri Rama).

रथ तोड़ने के बाद, श्री राम ने रावण की छाती पर सीधा वार किया। 'व्यूढसुजातरूपे'—रावण की छाती विशाल और सुंदर थी (वह एक महान योद्धा था), लेकिन श्री राम का बाण वज्र जैसा था। यह प्रहार रावण के अहंकार के केंद्र (हृदय) पर था।
