यश्चैष विन्ध्यास्तमहेन्द्रकल्पो धन्वी रथस्थो ऽतिरथो ऽतिवीरः ।
विस्फारयंश्चापमतुल्यमानं नाम्ना ऽतिकायो ऽतिविवृद्धकायः ॥६-५९-१६॥
yaścaiṣa vindhyāstamahendrakalpo dhanvī rathastho'tiratho'tivīraḥ |
visphārayaṃścāpamatulyamānaṃ nāmnātikāyo'tivivṛddhakāyaḥ ॥6-59-16॥
Translation
And this one, who resembles the Vindhya, Asta, and Mahendra mountains, an archer seated on a chariot, a mighty warrior (Atiratha) and great hero, twanging a bow of incomparable measure—this one of huge body is named Atikaya.
हिंदी अनुवाद
और यह जो विन्ध्याचल, अस्ताचल और महेन्द्र पर्वत के समान विशालकाय है, धनुर्धर है, रथ पर बैठा है, अतिरथी और महाबीर है, तथा अतुलनीय धनुष को टंकार रहा है, यह विशाल शरीर वाला 'अतिकाय' नाम का राक्षस है।
English Commentary
Atikaya is another son of Ravana. His name itself signifies his massive physique ('Ativivriddhakaya'). He is compared to three great mountain ranges. He is classified as an 'Atiratha', a high rank of warrior capable of fighting thousands alone.

अतिकाय रावण का एक और पुत्र है। उसका नाम ही उसके विशाल शरीर ('अतिविवृद्धकायः') का परिचायक है। उसकी तुलना तीन विशाल पर्वतों से की गई है। उसे 'अतिरथी' कहा गया है, जो योद्धाओं की एक उच्च श्रेणी है (जो अकेले हजारों से लड़ सके)।
