एवमुक्त्वा ततो रामो धनुरादाय वीर्यवान् ।
लक्ष्मणानुचरस्तस्थौ समुद्धृत्य शरोत्तमम् ॥६-५९-३२॥
evamuktvā tato rāmo dhanurādāya vīryavān |
lakṣmaṇānucarastasthau samuddhṛtya śarottamam ॥6-59-32॥
Translation
Having spoken thus, the valiant Shri Rama, followed by Lakshmana, took up his bow, drew out an excellent arrow, and stood ready.
हिंदी अनुवाद
ऐसा कहकर, लक्ष्मण जिनका अनुगमन कर रहे थे, उन वीर्यवान श्रीश्री राम ने धनुष लेकर और एक उत्तम बाण निकालकर स्थान ग्रहण किया।
English Commentary
After words comes action. Shri Rama assumes his battle stance. Lakshmana, as always, stands by him as his follower and protector. Drawing an 'excellent arrow' signals the beginning of the combat.
हिंदी टीका
वचन के बाद कर्म का समय है। श्री राम अपनी युद्ध मुद्रा में आ जाते हैं। लक्ष्मण सदैव की भाँति उनके रक्षक और अनुचर के रूप में उनके साथ हैं। 'शरोत्तमम्' (उत्तम बाण) का संधान युद्ध के आरम्भ का संकेत है।
