राघवस्य वचः श्रुत्वा परिष्वज्याभिपूज्य च ।
अभिवाद्य ततो रामं ययौ सौमित्रिराहवम् ॥६-५९-५१॥
rāghavasya vacaḥ śrutvā pariṣvajyābhipūjya ca |
abhivādya tato rāmaṃ yayau saumitrirāhavam ॥6-59-51॥
Translation
Hearing Raghava's words, having embraced and honored him, and having saluted Shri Rama, the son of Sumitra (Lakshmana) went to the battle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राघव (श्री राम) के वचन सुनकर, उनका आलिंगन और पूजन (सम्मान) करके, तथा उन्हें प्रणाम करके सुमित्रानंदन (लक्ष्मण) युद्ध के लिए चले।
English Commentary
Lakshmana goes to battle with the elder's blessings. 'Parishvajya' (embracing) reflects the love between the brothers. It is an emotional moment of departure as the opponent is the mighty Ravana.

लक्ष्मण बड़ों का आशीर्वाद लेकर युद्ध में जाते हैं। 'परिष्वज्य' (गले मिलना) भाइयों के बीच के प्रेम को दर्शाता है। यह विदाई का एक भावुक क्षण है क्योंकि सामना महाबली रावण से है।
