नीलेन सह संयुक्तं रावणं राक्षसेश्वरम् ।
अन्येन युद्ध्यमानस्य न युक्तमभिधावनम् ॥६-५९-७४॥
vidāritaṃ tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā viśīrṇaṃ patitaṃ bhuvi |
kālāgniriva jajvāla nīlaḥ kapicamūpatiḥ ॥6-59-74॥
Translation
Seeing that peak shattered and fallen to the ground in pieces, Nila, the commander of the monkey army, blazed with anger like the fire of dissolution (Kalagni).

उस पर्वत शिखर को विदीर्ण होकर और टूटकर पृथ्वी पर गिरा देख, वानर सेनापति नील प्रलयकाल की अग्नि के समान क्रोध से जल उठे।
English Commentary
The failure of his attack serves as a catalyst for Nila's rage. Comparing his anger to 'Kalagni' (the fire that destroys the universe at the end of time) emphasizes the intensity of his fury. Seeing his weapon reduced to rubble ('vishirnam') by Ravana provoked Nila to escalate the conflict. It marks the transition from calculated combat to ferocious, emotion-fueled aggression.

अपने आक्रमण को विफल होते देख एक योद्धा का क्रोधित होना स्वाभाविक है। नील का क्रोध साधारण नहीं था, वह 'कालाग्निरिव' (प्रलयंकारी अग्नि जैसा) था। पर्वत का टुकड़ों में गिरना ('विशीर्णं') रावण की शक्ति का प्रदर्शन था, जिसने नील के अहं और धैर्य दोनों को चुनौती दी। अब यह युद्ध केवल शारीरिक नहीं, बल्कि क्रोध और प्रतिशोध का युद्ध बन गया था।
